First time staying at the top 10 Ohakune. We absolutely loved it. Clean and tidy camping ground. Staff upgraded us to a bigger site on arrival as our caravan was 8m long. Plenty of room for our awning and car. Great location to cycle about town. Very safe feel.

The campground isn’t too big so it is quite nice. The spots feel a little crowded, because they are relatively small. Toilets are really nice. The kitchen doesn’t offer a lot of space to sit indoors and the equipment is quite strange. There are many induction cooking fields but no cookware around for them. So there were only two double cooking fields left for many people. I don’t know whether it was me or not but I feel the staff is really unfriendly. I would recommend to go another place before coming here because of this. They were grumpy and it didn’t feel like they enjoy working on the campground.

Staff were friendly, hot tub was in a really cute secluded area which was a nice addition to the experience. common areas were clean but the kitchen was too small/lacking proper stoves for the amount of visitors I wouldn't want to be there in high season trying to cook. Otherwise everything was all good, especially enjoyed the heated lights in the showers.

Excellent service and facilities, with friendly staff. We had a caravan site which was a perfect size for our van and it is a nice touch having access to camping tables. This is a great location, in a very nice setting next to the stream and native bush.

Reasonable size powered sites that fit the Van plus a tent. Very clean and well laid out bathroom amenities. Good location in town. Will stay again. Good halfway stop between wellington and raglan.

Pretty sick location for this chain! Best shower water pressure I’ve experienced while traveling around NZ (: That was great for coming off the Whanganui River after 5 days haha. We visited the small town in the summer season but since it’s really built out well with good amenities and such for the major ski town it is in the winter, it was an extra pleasant time here!
